I am a traveling Occupational Health Nurse. I've been to Starbucks all over the country. I have NEVER encountered such consistently rude staff. They make the customer feel as if they are an inconvenience. There are a few of the staff members who are wonderful. But the others definitely need some retraining on business etiquette. As with any customer service location, whether it be food and beverage or hospitality, all customers are not there for a great relaxing time or vacation. There are those of us who work extremely long hours or there may be those who are struggling with a tragic event in their life and are just barely hanging on. Treating customers with respect is a Cornerstone which can greatly impact a businesses bottom line. You've definitely lost me as a customer at this location. I was patient in the beginning after arriving in Amarillo for a work assignment. But it is evident this is the usual attitude at this location.

As an avid lover of all things coffee, I typically stick to the local coffee joint anytime I’m traveling to have a new experience or to just spend my money on a more local level, yet this was the closest coffee shop to me while I was visiting town, I have to say, it was overall a great experience. We noticed the line was fairly long and had time to park and sit for a bit. The staff was very friendly, greeted me with a smile, helpful and welcoming. The place was clean, our lattes were delicious and we had a wonderful experience. This is definitely a larger Starbucks and bet this would be fun to have a larger group or study session.
